Job summary

Build Talent LLC in Houston is seeking a Junior to Mid-Level Construction Estimator with 2–5 years of commercial estimating experience for ground-up projects. The role requires a solid understanding of costs, drawings, specifications, and subcontractor scopes to prepare accurate estimates.

You will perform quantity takeoffs, review bid documents, solicit subcontractor proposals, and help develop bid packages while coordinating with Preconstruction Managers and Project Teams.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of commercial construction estimating experience.
• Ground-up commercial projects experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed estimates for conceptual, schematic, design development, and hard-bid phases.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and develop estimates across divisions and scopes.
• Review drawings, specs, addenda, and bid documents to identify requirements and risks.
• Solicit, review, and level subcontractor and supplier proposals.
• Develop bid packages and ensure complete scope coverage.
