Job summary

Knight Electric, Inc. is hiring Commercial Electricians for a 5-8 month project in the Lincolnton, NC area. This full-time temporary role requires experience in commercial construction or remodels and living within commuting distance of Lincolnton, NC.

Compensation ranges from $25.00 to $40.00 per hour, depending on experience and active state electrical license. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, 401K, overtime potential, housing and per diem for travel, PTO, holiday pay, and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Formal trade school or apprenticeship preferred.
• 6,000+ hours of electrician experience required (not including school).
• Valid state issued Driver’s License required.
• Current state Electrical Apprentice license when required by licensing entity.
• Current OSHA 10 certificate.

Responsibilities

• Advanced knowledge of electrical theory and NEC code knowledge.
• Reads and interprets blueprints and schematics.
• Installs raceways, boxes, cables, panels, breakers and transformers.
• Performs wire pulling activities and tests electrical systems.
• Connects branch circuits and terminations; troubleshoots electrical systems.
• Complies with safety and quality control processes.
