Placements24 is seeking an Electrical Installation Supervisor for on-site work in Upington, SA. You will lead installation teams on commercial projects, ensuring quality, safety, and compliance with regulations.
The role requires a qualified electrician with a strong track record in managing installations, coordinating with clients, and guiding site personnel to meet project timelines.
Competenze
- Qualified Electrician (Trade Test Certificate) or National Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical installations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Experience with commercial project installations (retail, offices, hospitality).
- Strong knowledge of SA electrical regulations (SANS) and safety standards.
Mansioni
- Supervise and manage teams of electricians on commercial construction sites.
- Plan and coordinate daily installation activities to meet timelines.
- Ensure installations comply with SANS, codes and safety standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections and monitor workmanship quality and safety.
- Interpret drawings and specifications and guide installation crews.
- Manage materials and equipment on site and maintain stock levels.
- Liaise with project managers, clients and site personnel for smooth execution.
- Promote a strong safety culture, conduct toolbox talks, and enforce procedures.
- Troubleshoot and resolve installation-related issues on site.
