IES Commercial, Inc. – DBA IES Electrical in Suffolk, VA is seeking a full-time Electrical Helper to support commercial electricians with various tasks and material handling.

You will mount conduit, wires, and strapping, assist with wire pulls, and work from ladders while following safety policies; travel may be required. Requirements include 2 years of commercial electrical field experience, a High School Diploma or GED, OSHA 10 (or ability to obtain), and successful pre-employment background

Qualifications

2 years recent commercial electrical field experience.
High School Diploma/GED.
OSHA 10 or ability to obtain.
Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) background check, and MVR check when responsibilities require operating motor vehicles.

Responsibilities

Assists commercial Electricians by performing various tasks and material handling.
Properly mounts and installs assigned work conduit, wires, and strapping as directed.
Assists in wire pulls and other duties as directed by supervisor.
Works from all types of ladders.
Complies with all company and customer safety policies and procedures.
Travel may be required.
