Job summary

IES Commercial, Inc. – DBA IES Electrical in Chester, Virginia seeks a full-time Electrical Helper to support commercial electricians with tasks and material handling, mounting and installing conduit, wires and strapping, and assisting with wire pulls while following safety policies.

Travel may be required. Candidates must have 2 years of commercial electrical field experience, a High School Diploma or GED, OSHA 10 or ability to obtain, and pass pre-employment background and MVR checks when

Qualifications

• 2 years recent commercial electrical field experience.
• High School Diploma/GED.
• OSHA 10 or ability to obtain.
• Successfully pass pre-employment background check and MVR check when responsibilities require operating motor vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Assists commercial Electricians by performing various tasks and material handling.
• Properly mounts and installs assigned work conduit, wires, and strapping as directed.
• Assists in wire pulls and other duties as directed by supervisor.
• Works from all types of ladders.
• Complies with all company and customer safety policies and procedures.
• Travel may be required.
