Job summary

Loenbro, LLC in Centennial, CO is seeking a Senior Commercial Electrical Estimator to lead the estimating process for commercial electrical construction projects up to $100MM. You will develop comprehensive proposal packages and collaborate with Chief Estimator, Preconstruction, Project Management, operations, vendors, and customers to identify risks and ensure successful turnover.

The role requires 7+ years of estimating experience, proficiency with industry software, and strong communication

Qualifications

• 7+ years of commercial electrical construction estimating experience with leadership of complex estimates.
• Strong understanding of commercial electrical systems, materials, labor, subcontractor pricing, and project execution.
• Experience with estimating software such as Accubid, Bluebeam, McCormick, Trimble, or similar platforms.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills and ability to develop and track estimates and schedules.
• Excellent written, verbal, organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead estimates for commercial electrical projects up to $100MM, depending on scope.
• Develop detailed electrical estimates including materials, labor, equipment, subcontractors, and indirect costs.
• Perform and validate quantity takeoffs using estimating software.
• Review drawings, specs, scopes of work, contracts, and project requirements.
• Develop complete proposal packages with pricing, clarifications, exclusions, alternates, and submittals.
• Attend pre-bid meetings and customer meetings as required.
• Mentor and guide junior estimators and estimating team members.
