Job summary

Precision Walls, Inc. seeks a Sales/Estimator to join our Tennessee team. You will communicate with clients and team members, develop and present estimates, and read schematics to support project feasibility and budgeting.

Ideal candidates have a drywall construction background, strong communication, and the ability to build relationships. Estimating software such as Quick Bid or On-Screen Takeoff is preferred, with opportunities for growth and employee ownership.

Qualifications

• Commercial drywall construction background.
• Excellent communication in person, verbally, and in writing.
• Ability to multi-task and maintain focus while learning and growing.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively as part of a team and understand sales and negotiating techniques.
• Develop and deliver presentations.
• Develop and present building estimates and feasibility studies.
• Read schematics, blueprints, and/or technical manuals.
• Maintain technical knowledge of building components and their function.
• Knowledge of building components life cycle values and maintenance requirements.
• Ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports.
• Provide technical guidance and/or supervision to architects, structural engineers, and independent building contractors.
• Knowledge of procurement rules and regulations.
• Knowledge of budgeting, cost estimating, and fiscal management principles and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
