Daniels Health & Sharpsmart in Memphis, TN is seeking a motivated driver with a Class B license to safely operate a 26 ft box truck, collect sharps and medical waste containers, and deliver reliable service to healthcare locations across the area.

This full-time role offers a 5AM to 3PM schedule on weekdays, overtime opportunities, benefits from day one, and a focus on safe driving, DOT compliance, and building strong customer relationships.

Qualifications

• Class B licence with clean driving record and valid DOT medical card.
• Minimum 3 years of experience operating a 26‑foot box truck.
• Experience with DOT compliance, logging hours, and roadside inspections.
• Customer-focused with a proven longevity in past employment.
• Ability to push/pull up to 200 lbs cart.

Responsibilities

• Operate 26 ft box truck safely and legally.
• Collect and deliver medical waste containers to customer locations.
• Provide strong customer service and build positive relationships.
• Complete deliveries on schedule and communicate changes clearly.
• Load/unload and organize equipment per schedule requirements.
• Comply with DOT regulations, log hours, and pass roadside inspections.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, customer focused driver with a Class B license and experience driving large trucks to utilize your experience across the Memphis, TN area. You will be collecting sharps and medical waste containers from our healthcare customer locations and delivering a high level of customer service daily.

• Operating 26 ft box truck in a safe manner
• Safely collect, deliver and store our medical waste containers at customer locations
• Providing strong customer service and building positive customer relationships
• Completing deliveries to time schedule and clearly communicating changes
• Loading and unloading and organizing your truck per schedule needs
• Complying with DOT regulations, logging hours and roadside inspections
• Pushing/pulling a four-wheeled cart that weighs as much as 200lbs!!
• Class B license with a clean driving record and VALID DOT MEDICAL CARD
• Minimum 3 years experience operating 26 foot box truck
• Passing our 7 Year FADV review in the Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse
• Experience with pre-trip and post-trip vehicle evaluations
• Experience with DOT compliance, logging hours, roadside inspections
• Can-do attitude with a strong customer focus
• Proven longevity in past employment
• TOUCH FREIGHT EXPERIENCE!!!
