Job summary

M5 Services in Pleasanton, CA, is seeking an experienced commercial HVAC service technician to service and diagnose rooftop units, split systems, and packaged equipment across client properties in the Tri-Valley and surrounding areas.

You will perform diagnostics on equipment that's already running, refrigerant charging and recovery, and electrical troubleshooting on HVAC controls, bringing your own hand tools to the job.

Qualifications

• EPA 608 Universal certification required.
• Commercial HVAC service and diagnostics experience.
• Refrigerant charging and recovery.
• Electrical troubleshooting on HVAC controls.
• Your own hand tools.

Job description

M5 Services is a commercial building services contractor based in Pleasanton. We maintain and repair commercial properties across the Tri-Valley, the East Bay, San Francisco, and the Peninsula: office buildings, retail, and industrial sites for property managers and national facility groups.

We're not a big-crew outfit. Our engineers and technicians work with a full maintenance team behind them, and they're trusted to solve the problem in front of them without waiting on a project manager.

THE WORK

Service and repair on commercial HVAC: rooftop units, split systems, packaged equipment, and controls. Diagnostics on equipment that's already running badly, not installs off a plan set. You'll work across a portfolio of commercial properties, not one site.

What We're Looking For

Commercial HVAC service and diagnostic experience. EPA 608 Universal. Refrigerant charging and recovery. Electrical troubleshooting on HVAC controls. Your own hand tools.

NICE TO HAVE

C-20 experience. VRF and VAV systems. Chillers and boilers. Controls and BAS platforms. NATE certification.
