Job summary

Jobot is seeking an Estimator for commercial door, dock, and access-control projects in Michigan. You will review blueprints, perform material takeoffs, and develop accurate cost estimates to shape profitable bids before a tool is picked up.

You will collaborate with sales, project management, and field teams, track bid outcomes, and refine estimating accuracy as the branch grows. Prior estimating experience in construction or related trades and strong Excel skills are required; ERP/FSM

Qualifications

• Prior estimating experience in construction, commercial doors, dock equipment, or a closely related trade.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
• Strong Excel skills and comfort with estimating or takeoff software.

Responsibilities

• Review blueprints, schematics, and site information to develop accurate project scopes.
• Prepare material takeoffs and cost estimates for commercial door, dock, and access-control projects.
• Collaborate with sales on proposal development and pricing strategy.
