Accounting Search is seeking a mid-level Associate Attorney for its Business & Commercial Disputes Practice Group in Charlotte, NC. Hybrid work arrangement with a nationally recognized AmLaw 100 firm.

Qualifications

• JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record
• Active Bar Admission in North Carolina (or ability to become admitted promptly)
• 3–5 years of substantive experience in commercial litigation

Responsibilities

• Handle substantive work on complex commercial litigation matters in state and federal courts
• Draft and argue dispositive and non-dispositive motions, including motions to dismiss and summary judgment briefs
• Manage key aspects of discovery, including e-discovery coordination and motion practice
• Prepare for and conduct depositions of fact and expert witnesses
• Support trial preparation, including witness prep, exhibit management, and pretrial filings
• Collaborate with partners, associates, staff, and cross-office teams to deliver exceptional client service
