Job summary

Job Juncture is recruiting for a mid-level Business & Commercial Disputes Associate Attorney in Charlotte, NC. The role offers exposure to high-stakes litigation and significant client contact within a nationally recognized AmLaw 100 firm.

The successful candidate will hold a JD from a top-tier law school, be admitted to the North Carolina Bar (or eligible for prompt admission), and bring 3–5 years of commercial litigation experience to complex matters across industries.

Qualifications

• JD from a top-tier law school with excellent academics.
• Active Bar Admission in North Carolina in good standing (or able to become admitted promptly).
• 3–5 years of substantive experience in commercial litigation.
• Experience at a sophisticated law firm handling complex business disputes.
• Skilled in drafting dispositive and non-dispositive motions and managing discovery.

Responsibilities

• Handle complex commercial litigation matters in state and federal courts from inception through resolution.
• Draft and argue dispositive and non-dispositive motions, including dismissals and summary judgments.
• Manage key aspects of discovery, including e-discovery coordination.
• Prepare for and conduct depositions of fact and expert witnesses.
• Support trial preparation and courtroom strategy.
• Analyze litigation risks and provide practical legal solutions.
• Maintain direct client contact and collaborate with partners and cross-office teams.
