Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) Construction & Development seeks a Director, Commercial (SAS Phase 2) located at 2 Broadway to lead the project’s commercial strategy and risk management within the Delivery SAS Phase 2 team.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 10+ years of experience, including 5+ years in a management capacity, with strong communication and leadership skills. Telework is available one day per week.

Qualifications

• Ten years of related experience.
• Five years in a management/supervisory role in a large organization.
• PMI-PBA certifications preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership in complex project environments.

Responsibilities

• Make policy and procedural recommendations with final approval from departmental management and support implementation.
• Provide input into overall strategy with CD Delivery Senior Management.
• Provide high-level commercial direction to the project delivery team.
• Actively manages commercial risk with Owner’s Commercial Managers to improve processes.
• Represent the Agency Owner in external commercial relationships and ensure contract compliance.
