Job summary

Planes Moving & Storage is hiring Commercial Data Center Movers to support installation, relocation, decommissioning, and migration of server racks in data centers. This entry-level role offers hands-on, physical work in a fast-paced environment.

You will be part of a team moving critical equipment, starting early with typical start times around 5:45 AM or 6:30 AM, in Columbus, OH. We offer competitive pay and benefits, with opportunities for growth within a family-owned company.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to lift and move 50+ pounds repeatedly.
• Comfortable performing physical labor throughout the workday.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Must pass a background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and move server racks and related equipment.
• Assist with rack installations, relocations, and decommissioning projects.
• Uncrate, position, and re-crate servers and equipment.
• Operate pallet jacks, moving equipment, and hand tools.
• Secure equipment and materials using proper safety procedures.
• Keep work areas, trailers, and loading docks clean and organized.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Work closely with team members, supervisors, and project leads.
