Job summary

Check Point Software is seeking an experienced contracts attorney to own the contracting cycle for sales, purchasing, and marketing deals in the US. You will negotiate agreements, provide proactive legal guidance across Sales and Marketing, and support HR and litigation efforts to protect the company’s interests.

The role emphasizes strong communication, compliance, and risk identification while collaborating with Finance, Sales, Marketing and HR to drive favorable outcomes for Check Point.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in commercial/hi-tech law.
• JD from an accredited law school.
• Familiarity with standard contract terms for sales of product and software.
• Experience supporting Marketing or Sales.
• Demonstrate effective verbal and written skills.
• Cybersecurity experience a plus; export regulations a plus.
• Working knowledge of MS Word and Excel.
• Excellent contract development and negotiation skills.
• Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Master the contracting cycle across sales contracts, purchasing and marketing deals.
• Negotiate standard and personalized agreements with clients to reach win‑win outcomes.
• Provide guidance to HR to ensure compliant employment practices.
• Support litigation and safeguard the organization's legal interests.
• Identify potential legal risks and collaborate with teams to mitigate them.
