Job summary

Kingfisher Recruiting is assisting an Addison, IL distributor to hire a Credit & Collections Analyst on a full-time, direct-hire basis. The role focuses on commercial B2B collections, customer credit management, and accounts receivable, requiring lien waiver knowledge and on-site work.

The ideal candidate will manage 90% of collections, monitor AR aging and DSO, resolve overdue payments, and collaborate with sales and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in commercial B2B credit and collections.
• Construction lien waiver knowledge OR related construction credit experience.
• Experience managing delinquent commercial accounts and resolving payment disputes.
• Understanding of accounts receivable aging, credit terms, and collection procedures.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and credit or accounting systems.
• Ability to work onsite in Addison, Illinois, five days per week.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial B2B collections (about 90% of duties).
• Monitor AR aging, delinquent balances, and DSO.
• Contact commercial customers to resolve overdue balances.
• Investigate invoice discrepancies and payment disputes.
• Review customer credit information and assist with credit limits.
• Manage credit holds and coordinate order releases.
• Collaborate with sales and internal teams to resolve issues.
• Prepare and process construction lien waivers and related docs.
• Maintain accurate collection records and follow-up activity.
• Utilize credit software, ERP systems, and Excel.
