Job summary

Cobalt Credit Union - Headquarters in Papillion, NE seeks a Commercial Credit Analyst to evaluate credit risk for commercial and construction requests. You will work with Lending teams to process annual reviews and inspections, supporting growth of loans and services while protecting members’ assets.

The role requires an Associate degree (Bachelor’s preferred) and at least two years in loan underwriting and financial institution experience. Typical hours are Mon–Fri 8:00am–5:00pm.

Qualifications

• Associate degree, or comparable college experience, required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2 years of experience in loan underwriting required, business underwriting preferred.
• 2 years of experience in a financial institution required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze commercial credit and residential construction requests to assess risk in loaning money or extending credit.
• Collaborate with Business Lending staff to process annual reviews and site inspections.
• Coordinate with the branch network to grow loan, deposit and business services, building full relationships with members.
