Job summary

UW Credit Union is seeking a Credit Analyst to review borrower and guarantor financial statements and draft loan presentations with independent recommendations. You will assess cash flows, mitigants, and credit risks, ensuring adherence to loan policy guidelines and maintaining timely communication with borrowers and internal staff.

The role emphasizes detailed financial analysis, accurate documentation, and collaboration with Loan Officers to support new and existing commercial loans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Management or related field required.
• 2–3 years’ experience in a Credit Analyst, Financial Analyst, Portfolio Manager and/or Commercial Real Estate Analyst required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Loan Presentations (New Loans) and Annual/Periodic Reviews (Existing Loans).
• Analyze financial statements for the subject property and guarantors to independently confirm strengths and weaknesses.
• Validate the assigned risk rating per the MFRBL risk rating matrix.
• Create thorough loan presentations and credit memos to document findings and recommendations for approval.
• Analyze business financials and create cash flow models to support loans.
• Explain key issues clearly and ensure proper loan structures within the presentation.
