Job summary

Search Solution Group in Louisville, KY seeks a Commercial Analyst to evaluate the financial condition of borrowers, perform annual reviews, and spread financials to support lending decisions.

Responsibilities include credit monitoring, analyzing tax returns and financial statements, contributing to loan committee discussions, and ensuring underwriting guidelines and regulations are met. A Bachelor’s in Finance or Accounting and 2+ years of lending experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting preferred.
• 2+ years prior Commercial Analyst/Lending experience is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Perform annual financial reviews for commercial relationships.
• Spread and analyze business tax returns, business financial statements, personal tax returns, personal financial statements for new and existing credits.
• Complete credit monitoring functions including spreading and review of financial statements, borrowing base and covenant testing, marketable securities and leveraged lending monitoring.
• Make preliminary recommendation to Commercial Department Management.
• Attend and participate in loan committee meetings as required.
• Adhere to underwriting guidelines and credit standards.

• Oversees and manages financial information in regard to appropriate compliance tracking.
• Maintains expertise in new and current analysis procedures.
• Maintains expertise in new and changing underwriting guidelines and industry regulations.
• Adheres to Credit Union credit standards and works constructively with and abides by credit department guidelines.
