Job summary

Core Bank is seeking an experienced Commercial Credit Analyst II to provide advanced credit analysis and underwriting support for our Omaha, NE lending portfolio. You will evaluate borrowers, prepare credit presentations, and support relationship managers in structuring sound credit solutions.

The role requires attention to detail, strong communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment at our corporate headquarters in Omaha.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in commercial credit analysis, commercial lending, or related banking role.
• Experience with FIS or Abrigo / Sageworks is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze financial statements, tax returns, cash flow projections, and collateral to determine borrower creditworthiness.
• Prepare detailed credit memoranda for new loan requests, renewals, and annual reviews.
• Conduct ratio analysis, trend analysis, and industry benchmarking to identify risks.
• Evaluate global cash flow, guarantor strength, and repayment capacity for complex borrowing structures.
• Ensure credit files meet regulatory standards and internal policy requirements.
