Job summary

North Star Bank is seeking a Credit Analyst to join its commercial underwriting team. The analyst will conduct thorough financial analysis on prospective and active commercial loans, gather documentation, and prepare comparative financial spreadsheets for the Loan Committee.

This role uses independent judgment to assess credit and collateral risk and ensure regulatory compliance. Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree in business/finance/accounting and 5+ years in credit analysis or loan

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance or accounting.
• 5+ years in a Credit Analyst role with complex commercial loans.
• Solid understanding of GAAP spreading techniques and underwriting standards.
