Job summary

Starion Bank is seeking an experienced Credit Analyst to join our community-focused team. You will analyze credit requests, prepare financial spreads, and present CAPs to support sound lending decisions across North Dakota and Wisconsin.

You will conduct annual credit reviews, assess risk, and advise lenders on complex transactions. The role requires strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills, with proficiency in Word/Excel and familiarity with financial software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, business administration, or a related field.
• 3–8 years of related credit analysis or financial analysis experience.
• Strong financial statement analysis and credit risk assessment skills.
• Ability to work independently and provide technical guidance on complex credits.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities.
• Proficiency in Word and Excel; experience with databases or financial software is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze credit requests, prepare financial spreads and CAPs.
• Conduct annual credit reviews and assess risk and loan structure.
• Advise lenders on complex transactions and servicing needs.
• Lead or support credit administration projects, regulatory changes, system enhancements, and risk management initiatives.
• Assist with loan policy administration and improvements.
• Identify training needs and provide guidance to lending staff.
