Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Commercial Counsel for the Supply Chain team to enable procurement of critical goods and services. The role provides legal review and counseling to cross-functional partners in the US and internationally, spanning RFPs, contracts, licenses, and non-disclosures.

The successful candidate will manage form Purchase Orders and THIC terms while improving policies and processes. The position requires a JD and 5+ years of legal experience, bar admission, and onsite presence in

Qualifications

• JD or foreign equivalent from an accredited law school.
• 5+ years of legal experience.
• Admitted to and in good standing with at least one U.S. state bar.

Responsibilities

• Draft, negotiate, and review a range of commercial contracts, including purchase orders/agreements, service agreements, license agreements, long-term supply agreements, and NDAs.
• Identify and mitigate legal risk by implementing processes, trainings, and controls for SpaceX teams.
• Provide legal analyses of applicable laws, regulations, and industry practices related to procurement of goods and services.
• Work with Supply Chain, Purchasing, and Facilities teams throughout the procurement lifecycle.
