Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Commercial Counsel, Supply Chain to enable procurement of goods and services across the United States and internationally. You will draft, negotiate, and review commercial contracts, provide solutions-based counsel to Supply Chain, Purchasing, and Facilities teams, and manage standard terms and forms.

The role requires a JD or equivalent, 5+ years of legal experience, and bar admission in at least one US state.

Qualifications

• JD or foreign equivalent from an accredited law school.
• 5+ years of legal experience.
• Admission to the bar in at least one US state.
• Experience handling commercial procurement transactions, including international matters.
• Onsite work in Hawthorne, CA with SpaceX.

Responsibilities

• Draft, negotiate, and review a range of commercial contracts related to procurement of goods and services.
• Identify and mitigate legal risk by implementing processes, trainings, and controls.
• Provide analyses of laws, regulations, and industry best practices in procurement.
