Brex is seeking a Commercial Counsel to join the Legal team and support all aspects of the company's commercial contracts. You will handle reviews with sales and vendor contracting while collaborating with cross-functional partners to translate business needs into clear legal terms.

This role emphasizes pragmatic, business-oriented advice and the use of contracting playbooks and AI tools to improve workflows in a fast-paced tech environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience practicing commercial law, in-house or tech transactions.
• Juris Doctor (JD) and active bar membership in good standing.
• Experience at fast-paced growing technology companies preferred.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate customer agreements with sales and other stakeholders.
• Support inbound contracts including AI, SaaS, and professional services agreements.
• Drive contracting process improvements, playbooks, internal policies, and CLM workflows.
