Job summary

K&D Factory Service is seeking a Commercial Kitchen Service Technician (Hot Side) to service restaurants, schools, hospitals across Pennsylvania from seven branches. The role requires 2+ years of industry experience and a strong knowledge of gas, steam, electrical, or mechanical systems.

You will diagnose, repair, and report on service calls, provide excellent customer service, and work on-call with overtime. A valid driving record and CFESA or manufacturer training are a plus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience servicing commercial kitchen equipment or in a related industry.
• Strong Knowledge of gas, steam, electrical, or mechanical systems.
• Driving record must align with our safety standards.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-first mindset.
• CFESA Certification or manufacturer training is a plus!
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Completion of a successful background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Perform dispatched service calls, diagnose, and repair service issues, and all other problems on commercial equipment.
• Report all service activities accurately on the tablet after every call.
• Provide an excellent customer experience in supporting customers and partnering with internal team members.
• Ability to work on-call schedule (Including overtime pay).
• Operate and manage company-issued vehicles, tools, and equipment according to company guidelines.

K&D specializes in the repair of commercial refrigeration, HVAC, and food service equipment in restaurants, schools, hospitals, and nursing homes. Our technicians are servicing the Pennsylvania area out of 7 branches in Harrisburg, York, Lancaster, Williamsport, Allentown, Altoona, and Scranton. We are seeking Technicians with 2+ years of industry or related experience to join our team!
