Job summary

K&D Factory Service is seeking Commercial Kitchen Service Technicians (Hot side) across Pennsylvania. The role involves diagnosing and repairing commercial kitchen equipment, reporting activity via tablet, and delivering excellent customer service from seven branches.

Candidates should have 2+ years of industry experience and knowledge of gas, steam, electrical, or mechanical systems. On-call work with overtime is included, along with a competitive pay and benefits package.

• 2+ years of experience servicing commercial kitchen equipment or related industry.
• Strong knowledge of gas, steam, electrical, or mechanical systems.
• Driving record must align with safety standards.
• CFESA certification or manufacturer training is a plus.
• Must be 18 years of age and pass background/drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair service issues on commercial equipment.
• Report all service activities on the tablet after each call.
• Provide excellent customer experience and collaborate with internal teams.
• Work on-call schedule (including overtime pay).
• Operate and manage company-issued vehicles, tools, and equipment per guidelines.

K&D Factory Service has been servicing the Keystone State since 1945. K&D specializes in the repair of commercial refrigeration, HVAC, and food service equipment in restaurants, schools, hospitals, and nursing homes. Our technicians are servicing the Pennsylvania area out of 7 branches in Harrisburg, York, Lancaster, Williamsport, Allentown, Altoona, and Scranton. We are seeking Technicians with 2+ years of industry or related experience to join our team!

What You’ll Do:

• Perform dispatched service calls, diagnose, and repair service issues, and all other problems on commercial equipment
• Report all service activities accurately on the tablet after every call
• Provide an excellent customer experience in supporting customers and partnering with internal team members
• Ability to work on-call schedule (Including overtime pay)
• Operate and manage company-issued vehicles, tools, and equipment according to company guidelines

What You Need to Apply:

• 2+ years of experience servicing commercial kitchen equipment or in a related industry
• Strong Knowledge of gas, steam, electrical, or mechanical systems
• Driving record must align with our safety standards
• Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-first mindset
• CFESA Certification or manufacturer training is a plus!
• Must be 18 years of age
• Completion of a Successful background check and drug screen
