Job summary

K&D Factory Service is seeking Commercial Kitchen Service Technicians (Hot side) to service customers across Pennsylvania. Join a team with 7 branches, handling repairs on commercial kitchen equipment, HVAC, and refrigeration for restaurants, schools, hospitals, and more.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience servicing commercial kitchen equipment or related field.
• Strong knowledge of gas, steam, electrical, or mechanical systems.
• Clean driving record aligned with safety standards.
• Excellent customer-facing skills and problem-solving ability.
• Background check and drug screen completed successfully.

Responsibilities

• Perform dispatched service calls, diagnose and repair issues on commercial kitchen equipment.
• Document service activities accurately on the tablet after each call.
• Provide outstanding customer service and coordinate with internal teams.
• On-call availability with overtime compensation.
• Operate and manage company vehicles, tools, and equipment per guidelines.

Experienced Technicians Wanted (2+ Years)

K&D Factory Service has been servicing the Keystone State since 1945. K&D specializes in the repair of commercial refrigeration, HVAC, and food service equipment in restaurants, schools, hospitals, and nursing homes. Our technicians are servicing the Pennsylvania area out of 7 branches in Harrisburg, York, Lancaster, Williamsport, Allentown, Altoona, and Scranton. We are seeking Technicians with 2+ years of industry or related experience to join our team!

What You’ll Do:

• Perform dispatched service calls, diagnose, and repair service issues, and all other problems on commercial equipment
• Report all service activities accurately on the tablet after every call
• Provide an excellent customer experience in supporting customers and partnering with internal team members
• Ability to work on-call schedule (Including overtime pay)
• Operate and manage company-issued vehicles, tools, and equipment according to company guidelines

What You Need to Apply:

• 2+ years of experience servicing commercial kitchen equipment or in a related industry
• Strong Knowledge of gas, steam, electrical, or mechanical systems
• Driving record must align with our safety standards
• Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-first mindset
• CFESA Certification or manufacturer training is a plus!
• Must be 18 years of age
• Completion of a Successful background check and drug screen
