Job summary

K&D Factory Service is seeking experienced Commercial Kitchen Service Technicians for multiple locations across Pennsylvania. Join a team servicing restaurants, schools, hospitals, and nursing homes, with 2+ years of field experience and CFESA or manufacturer training as a plus.

Earn competitive hourly pay plus bonuses, OT/double time for on-call shifts, and comprehensive benefits as part of a growing company with seven branches across PA including Scranton.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience servicing commercial kitchen equipment or related industry.
• Strong knowledge of gas, steam, electrical, or mechanical systems.
• Successful background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Perform dispatched service calls, diagnose and repair issues on commercial equipment.
• Report service activities on the tablet after each call.
• Provide excellent customer experience and support to internal team members.
• Work on-call schedule with overtime pay.
• Operate and manage company vehicles, tools, and equipment per guidelines.

K&D Factory Service has been servicing the Keystone State since 1945. K&D specializes in the repair of commercial refrigeration, HVAC, and food service equipment in restaurants, schools, hospitals, and nursing homes. Our technicians are servicing the Pennsylvania area out of 7 branches in Harrisburg, York, Lancaster, Williamsport, Allentown, Altoona, and Scranton. We are seeking Technicians with 2+ years of industry or related experience to join our team!

What You'll Do:

• Perform dispatched service calls, diagnose, and repair service issues, and all other problems on commercial equipment
• Report all service activities accurately on the tablet after every call
• Provide an excellent customer experience in supporting customers and partnering with internal team members
• Ability to work on-call schedule (Including overtime pay)
• Operate and manage company-issued vehicles, tools, and equipment according to company guidelines

What You Need to Apply:

• 2+ years of experience servicing commercial kitchen equipment or in a related industry
• Strong Knowledge of gas, steam, electrical, or mechanical systems
• Driving record must align with our safety standards
• Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-first mindset
• CFESA Certification or manufacturer training is a plus!
• Must be 18 years of age
• Completion of a Successful background check and drug screen
