Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Superintendent to lead field operations on high-quality commercial projects in the Atlanta market. The role focuses on hands-on execution, ownership of project delivery, and maintaining client satisfaction with a strong emphasis on safety and quality.

The ideal candidate will manage day-to-day field activities, coordinate trades, drive schedules, and communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial construction experience with a GC or equivalent.
• Experience as a Superintendent, Senior Superintendent, or Assistant Superintendent.
• Experience managing commercial projects from mobilization through closeout.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and MEP drawings.
• Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills.
• OSHA knowledge and a strong commitment to jobsite safety.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage day-to-day field operations for commercial construction projects.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, inspections, deliveries, and site logistics.
• Develop and maintain project schedules and ensure milestones are met.
• Conduct daily site walks and monitor project progress.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, architects, engineers, owners, and subcontractors.
• Review plans, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and project documents.
• Identify potential scheduling, quality, safety, and constructability issues before they impact the project.
• Maintain high standards for quality control and workmanship.
• Enforce site safety policies and OSHA requirements.
• Lead subcontractor coordination meetings and project planning activities.
• Track manpower, materials, equipment, and production.
• Assist with project closeout, punch lists, inspections, and turnover.

Job Details

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of commercial construction experience, preferably with a General Contractor.


• Proven experience as a Superintendent, Senior Superintendent, or Assistant Superintendent.


• Experience managing commercial projects from mobilization through closeout.


• Strong understanding of commercial construction means and methods.


• Ability to read and interpret architectural and MEP drawings.


• Strong subcontractor and trade coordination experience.


• Experience with project scheduling and construction management software


• Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills.


• OSHA knowledge and a strong commitment to jobsite safety.


• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining schedule and quality expectations.
