Job summary

Meyer Najem is seeking multiple Superintendents to oversee ground-up commercial/municipal projects ranging from $5M to $50M. Central Indiana projects predominate, with travel or relocation involved.

You will manage scheduling, safety, and coordination with trade partners to ensure on-time, high-quality delivery. Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of field superintendent experience, strong communication with clients, and proficiency with ProCore, SmartSheets, BlueBeam, and Excel.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years of field experience as a Superintendent.
• Experience supervising subcontractors.
• Safety-first mindset.
• Familiar with ProCore, SmartSheets, BlueBeam, Excel.
• Ability to solve problems with limited direction.

Responsibilities

• Run profitable projects from $5M–$50M or more.
• Perform weekly safety inspections and/or weekly safety meetings.
• Interpret project scope, clarifications, prints, specifications, addendums, change orders, etc., and execute work processes.
• Work in compliance with the Company Safety Program and OSHA Standards.
• Schedule subcontractors and manpower.
• Order materials, tools, and equipment as required for the work onsite.
• Communicate between subcontractors and owner, architect, and/or project manager.
• Execute and maintain all records onsite in an orderly and timely fashion.
• Schedule all non-building material during the project startup phase.
• Prepare and meet with subcontractors and suppliers at pre-construction meetings.

Job description

We are looking for multiple Superintendents who havebuilt a variety of ground up commercial/municipal construction projects including wood frame, metal stud, steel and more. Ourproject scopesrange from $20M to $50M. Most of our projects are in central Indiana, so travel wouldbe required or possible relocation.

They must be comfortable overseeing the entire operation of the construction site including scheduling and communicating with our trade partners. They should be able to determine and address any risk areas in order to maintain the safety of workers and maintain quality. This candidate should be experienced in communicating project milestones with clients and other parties, and be able to establish a timeline for completion.

Position Responsibilities

• Ability to run profitable projects from $5M - $50M or more
• Perform weekly safety inspections and/or weekly safetymeetings
• Interpret project scope, clarifications, prints, specifications, addendums, change orders, etc. and execute the workprocesses
• Performwork in compliance with the Company Safety Program and OSHA Standards
• Scheduling of subcontractors andmanpower
• Ordermaterials, tools, and equipment as may be required for the work onsite
• Effectively communicate between subcontractors and owner, architect and/or project manager, etc.
• Execute and maintain all records onsite in an orderly and timely fashion
• Schedule all non-building material during the project start up phase
• Prepare and meet with subcontractors and suppliers at a pre-construction meeting to verify site and building layout/dimensions and report any inconsistencies with the project manager

Minimum Qualifications

• At least a High School diploma or GED required
• 5+ years of field experience as a Superintendent. Managing municipal projects strongly preferred.
• Previous experience supervising subcontractors
• A safety first mindset
• Familiar with technology: ProCore, SmartSheets, BlueBeam, Excel
• The ideal candidate has the ability to solve problems with limited direction

Physical Requirements of the job:

• Ability to climb stairs and ladders without assistance
• Ability to walk for long periods of time unaided
• Ability to lift at least 30 pounds without assistance
