Unknown Company in San Jose, CA is seeking a Commercial Construction Project Manager to lead projects from preconstruction through closeout, with hands-on ownership and on-site execution.

Projects range from $250K to $60M, include life science and commercial work; 5+ years’ experience, strong scheduling, subcontractor management, and proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, and Excel are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a PM/Engineer/Assistant PM.

Responsibilities

• Handle estimating, proposals, quantity takeoffs, job walks and subcontractor buyout
• Manage contracts, change orders, RFIs, submittals and project documentation
• Own project schedules, monthly billings, invoices and financial tracking
• Lead owner/contractor meetings and coordinate with Superintendents, subcontractors, architects and engineers
• Identify project issues early and keep schedules, budgets and deliverables on track

Commercial Construction Project Manager

San Jose, CA | Onsite | $130K–$200K + Bonus

We’re looking for an experienced Commercial Construction Project Manager to join a growing Bay Area general contractor. This is a hands-on PM role with full ownership of projects from preconstruction through closeout/customer move-in.

Projects range from approximately $250K to $60M and include life science, commercial/industrial construction, tenant improvements, and seismic/structural work.

What You’ll Do

• Manage multiple commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
• Handle estimating, proposals, quantity takeoffs, job walks and subcontractor buyout
• Manage contracts, change orders, RFIs, submittals and project documentation
• Own project schedules, monthly billings, invoices and financial tracking
• Lead owner/contractor meetings and coordinate with Superintendents, subcontractors, architects and engineers
• Identify project issues early and keep schedules, budgets and deliverables on track

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager, Project Engineer or Assistant PM
• Strong commercial construction / General Contractor background
• Experience managing projects from start to finish
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong knowledge of scheduling, subcontractor management and construction documents
• Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project and Excel
• Knowledge of AIA documentation and Sage 100 Contractor is a plus
• California driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Commercial experience required, residential-only backgrounds will not be considered
