Job summary

HITT Contracting is seeking a Commercial Construction Project Manager to lead project teams, coordinate budgeting, scheduling, and field operations, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality.

The role requires 5+ years in commercial construction, strong drawing-reading skills, and proficiency with ProCore, BlueBeam, and the Microsoft Office suite, plus a proven ability to communicate with clients and manage safety leadership on site.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma; a four-year degree in construction, engineering or business preferred.
• 5+ years of commercial construction experience, including GC exposure.
• Experience in a project management role managing multiple projects.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and related documents.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety standards and ensure documentation is filed.
• Manage project budget for all assigned projects.
• Develop and collaborate on pre-construction RFP package.
• Conduct project meetings, set milestones, and generate monthly owner reports.
• Establish project processes (RFIs, submittals, pay applications) and approve changes.
• Schedule projects, ensure QC, and manage logistics.
• Oversee closeout processes and client communications.
• Collaborate with field team and subcontractors throughout the project lifecycle.
