Job summary

DACG, Inc. in Central Florida is seeking an Estimator to support the Preconstruction team. You will review drawings, perform quantity takeoffs, gather pricing from vendors, and prepare estimates for self-performed specialties and CMAR projects.

The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and comfort with estimating software and new tools. Occasional project-site visits and collaboration with clients and subcontractors are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specs.
• Experience performing quantity takeoffs.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Self-starter with good communication and team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Review drawings and specs to understand scope and challenges.
• Prepare estimates and proposals using company templates.
• Perform quantity takeoffs for self-performed work.
• Visit sites, meet subcontractors, and gather measurements.
• Assist with CMAR bid preparation and pricing reviews.
• Collaborate with Preconstruction and Operations teams.
