Job summary

GPAC is seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Estimator to support planning and preconstruction of commercial buildings. You will develop accurate estimates, review plans and specs, perform quantity takeoffs, and solicit subcontractor pricing to deliver competitive bids.

The role requires strong knowledge of construction methods, labor productivity, and risk analysis, with collaboration across project executives, managers, and vendors to ensure reliable budgets.

Qualifications

• Detailed construction estimating experience across CSI divisions.
• Ability to perform quantity takeoffs from architectural, structural, civil, and MEP drawings.
• Strong knowledge of subcontractor scopes and bid processes.
• Bachelor-level degree or equivalent estimating experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare conceptual through final construction estimates and bid packages.
• Solicit subcontractor pricing and develop cost models.
• Review drawings and specs to identify scope and risks.
• Assist with value engineering and cost-saving alternatives.
