Job Description

Prominent metropolitan HVAC manufacturer’s representative company is seeking estimators to join our team.

The ideal candidate will be a quick learner, possess computer skills, demonstrate attention to detail, work well with peers, and follow management instructions.

We offer training to suitable non-experienced candidates who show the ability to handle the work.

Estimator Responsibilities:

1. Read and understand mechanical drawings
2. Use manufacturer software
3. Complete takeoffs from mechanical drawings
4. Provide detailed quotes based on the takeoffs
5. Price all products represented by ADE
6. Prepare detailed proposals
7. Perform other related duties as assigned by management

Note: AutoCAD or 3D modeling experience is not required.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree or 1-2 years of related experience in the construction industry, or equivalent education and experience
• Computer skills: Takeoff software (PlanSwift, On-Screen Takeoff), Microsoft Excel, ERP software (Microsoft Navision)
• Other skills: organization, ability to learn, high attention to detail
