Responsibilities include cost calculations for labor, equipment, materials, and subcontractors, plus securing quotes and drafting clear bid documents.

Qualifications

Proven experience estimating commercial concrete construction projects.
Ability to perform quantity takeoffs for reinforcing steel, concrete, formwork and related tasks.
Interpret complex drawings and specs to define scope and costs.
Experience with tilt walls, foundations, paving, retaining walls and flat work.
Proficiency with industry-standard software tools (e.g., Bluebeam).

Responsibilities

Analyze project blueprints, specifications and bid packages to define full scope of work.
Perform precise quantity takeoffs for concrete-related tasks.
Calculate costs including labor, equipment, materials and subcontractors.
Secure and analyze vendor/subcontractor quotes for pricing accuracy.
Draft proposals outlining pricing, assumptions and inclusions/exclusions.
