Location: Plantersville, TX | Pay: $100k - $125kJoin a young, growing construction company where your estimating skills will directly support new business and project success. We are seeking a Commercial Concrete Estimator who can develop accurate, competitive bids and help strengthen our estimating processes as the company expands.******Responsibilities **Review plans, specifications, addenda, and bid documents to determine project scope and requirements.Complete detailed quantity takeoffs for concrete, reinforcing steel, formwork, and related work.Prepare estimates for labor, materials, equipment, subcontractors, and other project costs.Obtain and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotes for pricing, scope coverage, and exclusions.Prepare clear proposals that document assumptions, inclusions, exclusions, and pricing.RequirementsPrevious experience estimating commercial concrete construction projects.Experience estimating foundations, paving, flat work, slope paving, tilt walls, retaining walls, and base prep.Formal education required: a degree, diploma, or completed certificate program in construction management, civil engineering, construction technology, estimating, or a closely related field.Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.Understanding of commercial concrete construction methods, materials, labor requirements, and cost factors.Experience with Bluebeam or alternate system/softwareYou should be proficient in:Industrial ConstructionEstimating
