Job summary

AmeriTech Staffing, Inc. is seeking a Commercial Concrete Estimator in Plantersville, TX to develop accurate bids and support project success.

You will review plans, perform quantity takeoffs for concrete, reinforcing steel, formwork, and related work, and prepare costed estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors. Strong reading of drawings and specifications, understanding of concrete construction methods, and cost factors are essential.

Qualifications

Experience estimating foundations, paving, flat work, slope paving, tilt walls, retaining walls, and base prep.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
Understanding of commercial concrete construction methods, materials, labor requirements, and cost factors.
Experience with Bluebeam or alternative estimation software.

Responsibilities

Review plans, specifications, addenda, and bid documents to determine project scope and requirements.
Complete detailed quantity takeoffs for concrete, reinforcing steel, formwork, and related work.
Prepare estimates for labor, materials, equipment, subcontractors, and other project costs.
Obtain and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotes for pricing, scope coverage, and exclusions.
Prepare clear proposals that document assumptions, inclusions, exclusions, and pricing.
