Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a Customer Service Representative - Collections to support commercial clients with billing and payment-related concerns. You will resolve past due items, maintain strong relationships, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure a smooth customer experience.

The role emphasizes problem-solving, empathy, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment. Schedule is Monday–Friday, onsite in Gresham, OR three days per week.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two to four years of relevant experience.
• Experience with commercial/banking customers; collections or accounts receivable helpful.
• Experience handling inquiries via phone and email.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service through phone and email interactions.
• Assist commercial clients with invoice questions, payment arrangements, and online access.
• Contact customers regarding past due accounts with professionalism and relationship focus.
• Analyze customer situations and determine appropriate next steps based on history and context.
• Research and resolve customer concerns with accuracy and urgency.
• Document customer interactions and account updates in applicable systems.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
• Balance multiple priorities while meeting quality, service, and productivity expectations.
