What You'll Do
Connect with customers regarding payment obligations, account status, invoices, and contractual agreements.
Educate customers on available options and help identify appropriate solutions.
Manage a high volume of outbound communications while maintaining professionalism and empathy.
Handle inbound customer inquiries and provide timely follow-up.
Document customer interactions and maintain accurate account information.
Partner with customer service, operations, and other business teams to deliver the best possible customer experience.
Balance productivity, quality, compliance, and customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.

We're Looking For
Successful candidates typically bring:
Customer service, banking, collections, retail, hospitality, call center, or related experience.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
The ability to navigate multiple systems and manage competing priorities.
Confidence handling difficult conversations with professionalism and empathy.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Basic computer and typing proficiency.
A positive attitude and desire to learn and grow.
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm CST
Location: Gresham; Marshall; Saint Paul 3+ days in office
Basic Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Two to four years of relevant experience
Preferred Skills/Experience
Good knowledge of concepts, practices, policies and procedures of banking products and services
Effective telephone and interpersonal skills
Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills
Ability to handle difficult customer calls
Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages including Microsoft Office applications
Ability to identify and resolve/escalate problems
Good time management skills to maximize the number of clients that can be assisted while maintaining a high level of customer service
Location Expectations
This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $20.00 - $21.15
