Job summary

Truist is seeking a Lead Commercial Client Specialist to manage and train a team of CCS professionals in the Columbus area. You will support Relationship Managers, maintain client data, and drive portfolio growth through internal partnerships.

The role emphasizes leadership, coaching, and ensuring high-quality client servicing across Commercial loans, deposits, and treasury services. A strong background in banking operations and client relationships is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent education.
• Three years of CCS experience.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with clients and colleagues.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to complete all CCS training curriculum.
• Knowledge of bank services and financial services industry.
• Math aptitude with ability to grasp accounting concepts.
• Aptitude for supervisory responsibility and leadership.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications (MS Office).
• Working knowledge of Excel and reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide sales support to Relationship Managers and maintain CRM data.
• Identify referral opportunities and coordinate with IRM partners to grow the portfolio.
• Assist banker teams by generating reports and attending meetings, ensuring clear internal communication.
• Lead CCS direct reports and support CSSL and Regional Leadership as needed.
• Assist Relationship Managers with loan, deposit, and fee service servicing for Commercial clients.
• Oversee portfolio management and client data accuracy; escalate as needed.
