Responsibilities

• Investigates claims with internal and external resources and speaks with involved parties.
• Interacts directly with insureds, claimants, agents and internal customers in a timely manner.
• Analyzes data to determine policy coverage and notifies relevant parties.
• Establishes claim reserves and makes adjustments as needed.
• Determines and negotiates settlements within authority limits.
• Writes simple to moderately complex property or auto damage estimates.
• Collects statements and coordinates with appraisal, subrogation, and SIU when appropriate.
• Maintains accurate claim files and notes to ensure traceability and compliance.
