Job summary

Bank of America is seeking a Standard Channel Underwriter to manage credit underwriting and monitoring for Business Banking clients in a high-volume national queue. You will review credit analysis, evaluate risks, and write financial analyses supporting decisions on lines of credit, term loans, and real estate loans.

Collaborating with Relationship Managers and Solutions Advisors, you will deliver loan structuring analyses, financial modeling, and industry insights while monitoring portfolio

Qualifications

• 2+ years of solid Commercial Banking experience.
• Experience in financial analysis, structuring, and underwriting.
• Analytical/technical skills, including financial accounting, modeling and loan structuring.
• Strong communication skills; ability to communicate vertically, horizontally, and externally.
• Industry knowledge across multiple sectors.

Responsibilities

• Supports underwriting and monitoring in a high-volume national workflow queue.
• Independently works with Relationship Managers and Solutions Advisors to understand structuring needs.
• Delivers financial modeling, loan structure, industry, economic, and other analyses to team members to support the loan decision-making process.
• Underwriters have single signature authority for certain credit transaction.
