Job summary

Bank of America in the United States is seeking an Enhanced Channel Underwriter to manage credit underwriting and monitoring for a portfolio of clients. You will independently handle transactions of limited to moderate complexity, perform financial analysis, and support loan decisions.

The role requires 5+ years in commercial banking underwriting, strong analytical and communication skills, and collaboration with relationship management and risk teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of solid Commercial Banking underwriting experience.
• Experience in financial analysis, structuring, underwriting and portfolio management.
• Analytical/technical skills including financial accounting, modeling and loan structuring.
• Strong communication skills; ability to communicate across levels and externally.
• Industry knowledge across multiple sectors.

Responsibilities

• Manages a portfolio of clients supporting underwriting/monitoring with limited to moderate complexity.
• Collaborates with Relationship Management and Risk teammates to understand structuring needs.
• Delivers financial modeling, loan structure, industry, economic analyses to support loan decisions.
