Job summary

Bank of America is seeking an Enhanced Channel Underwriter to manage credit underwriting and monitoring for new and existing clients in partnership with the client team. You will independently handle transactions of limited to moderate complexity and conduct thorough credit analysis to support loan decisions.

You will collaborate with Relationship Management and Risk teammates, deliver financial modeling and loan structuring analyses, and ensure compliance with policy and procedures.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of solid Commercial Banking underwriting experience.
• Experience in financial analysis, structuring, underwriting and portfolio management.
• Analytical/technical skills, including financial accounting, modeling and loan structuring.
• Strong communication skills; ability to communicate vertically, horizontally, and externally.

Responsibilities

• Manages a portfolio of clients supporting underwriting and/or monitoring requirements with limited to moderate complexity.
• Independently works with Relationship Management and Risk teammates to understand structuring needs.
• Delivers financial modeling, loan structure, industry, economic analyses to support loan decisions.
• Reviews work of junior teammates and ensures compliance with laws and policy procedures.
• Has credit approval for certain credit actions and leads loan structure conversations.
