Job summary

RC Griffin LLC in Danvers, MA is seeking a skilled Commercial Carpenter / Site Supervisor to lead our on-site crews on commercial projects. This hands-on role blends craftsmanship with coordination to deliver work that meets safety, timeline, and spec requirements.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints, supervising crews, communicating with managers and clients, and ensuring quality and code compliance on site. CSL license is preferred for supervisors, OSHA standards are mandatory.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial carpentry experience.
• Experience in site supervision or lead carpenter role preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and construction documents.
• Strong knowledge of commercial building codes and OSHA safety standards.
• Excellent communication and team leadership skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification is a plus.
• CSL license preferred for supervisors.
• Within 1 hour of the Danvers, MA office.

• Supervise and coordinate on-site crews to ensure work is completed safely, on time, and to spec.
• Read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and project specifications.
• Communicate with project managers, subcontractors, and clients regarding daily progress and site needs.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure quality control and code compliance.
• Manage material deliveries, tool inventory, and on-site logistics.
• Identify and resolve field issues proactively to keep projects on schedule.
