Job summary

RC Griffin LLC is seeking a skilled Commercial Carpenter / Site Supervisor to lead our Danvers, MA projects. You will perform hands-on carpentry work while coordinating on-site crews, ensuring safety, quality, and timely completion of commercial builds.

The role requires strong blueprint interpretation, knowledge of building codes, and effective communication with project managers and clients. A CSL license and OSHA training are advantageous, and proximity to the Danvers office is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial carpentry experience.
• Experience supervising on-site crews.
• Ability to read blueprints and construction documents.
• Strong knowledge of building codes and OSHA standards.
• If a supervisor, CSL license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform skilled commercial carpentry work including framing, finish work, doors, hardware, and interior buildouts.
• Supervise and coordinate on-site crews to ensure work is completed safely, on time, and to spec.
• Read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and project specifications.
• Communicate with project managers, subcontractors, and clients regarding daily progress and site needs.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure quality control and code compliance.
• Manage material deliveries, tool inventory, and on-site logistics.
• Identify and resolve field issues proactively to keep projects on schedule.
