Synergy, a leading Boston commercial real estate firm, seeks a Building Engineer to join our engineering staff in Boston. This individual will perform maintenance duties and respond to work orders, tenant calls and other operations for an urban office building.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in building maintenance and operations, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, EMS and other building mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Monitors building system operations and performance; utilizes trade skills such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, roofing, HVAC.
• Oversees and inspects work by outside contractors (landscaping, snow removal, remodeling, HVAC, plumbers, cleaning).
• Performs repairs, preventive maintenance and maintains records; reviews work orders and estimates materials.
