You will collaborate across bank teams to cross-sell services, manage loan requests through underwriting, and ensure compliance with policies while expanding Univest's presence in the market. A strong credit background and client-focused mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Customer-focused individual with strong knowledge of credit, banking, and investment products and processes.
• 10+ years experience preferred.
• Ability to cross-sell products, along with proven sales and product expertise with business clients.
• Ability to manage risk within Portfolio, including loan grading, loan pricing.
• Strong community involvement in geographic area.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or equivalent experience in related area desired.
• Completion of formal credit training preferred.
• Ability to handle most problems/exceptions in an independent manner.
• Goal-oriented individual with strong leadership, interpersonal and communications skills.
• PC experience, specifically in Salesforce, nCino, Excel, Word, and Outlook desired.

Responsibilities

• Relationship management of a moderately complex commercial portfolio of $40-$60MM, including growth planning.
• Build trusted, competent, and confident client relationships by providing financial solutions.
• Cross-sell other bank services by collaborating with other bank areas.
• Manage relationships and submit loan requests for underwriting and approval; develop new prospects and clients.
• Know your customers’ business plans, borrowing needs, and repayment ability.
• Negotiate loan terms within policy, including interest rate, repayment, and collateral.
• Increase bank visibility by participating in local business and nonprofit organizations.
• Ensure compliance with laws and Univest Code of Conduct; perform additional duties as required.
